Elizabeth J. Phillips, MD, FIDSA, FAAAAI is the John A. Oates Chair in Clinical Research and Director of the Center of Drug Safety and Immunology and Professor of Medicine, Dermatology, Pathology, Microbiology and Immunology and Pharmacology, Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She is scientific co-director of the VUMC Immunogenomics Microbial Genetics and Single-Cell Technologies Core (IMGSCT) and is an expert in studying the immunogenomics and mechanisms of T-cell mediated adverse drugs reactions. She is leading Aim 3 of the MGB-SCAR study looking at genetic determinants of antibiotic SCAR.
